It may–I just saw NPR had a show on about “hipster librarians”. Some guy wrote a book. I don’t know if Henry Stokes qualifies, but maybe this guy does.

Your perception of light and shade is my favorite thing about your art. I guess it comes from photography, not drawing. I’ve never seen anything like it except in Blake, and his figures weren’t as good as yours.
